DAVID CORFIELD

With a lifelong passion for health and fitness that began in his local boxing club at age 9, David brings unparalleled versatility to his training. His experience spans all forms of training, including:
• Boxing and MMA
• Yoga and mobility exercises
• Kettlebells and functional training
• Bodybuilding and powerlifting
• High-intensity classes like Tabata, “Kettle-Hell”, and more
David is perhaps best known for his signature Total Fitness classes—dynamic, high-energy sessions that combine strength, cardio, mobility, and mindset challenges. These popular workouts foster an electric community atmosphere, attracting participants not just locally but from all around the world through live streams, on-demand content, and his engaging online presence (via YouTube, Instagram @dcgymnasium, and Facebook).
A CIMSPA-registered personal trainer (and sports masseur), David also offers bespoke one-to-one coaching, helping clients of all levels achieve their goals—whether building muscle, improving mobility, mastering complex lifts, or reclaiming their health.
His own journey adds real depth to his work: having overcome significant personal challenges earlier in life (including a battle with addiction that he has been clean from for many years), David turned his life around through fitness and now uses his gym to support others, including initiatives offering free memberships to those in rehabilitation programs.

I strive for clients to feel strong and confident both in body and mind, not only in a gym environment, but outside of the gym too.

Hi, I’m Dave, I love being a PT and I relish seeing my clients achieve what they set out accomplish.
I coach the ‘Lifestyle’ fitness enthusiast, I train you to become the fittest, strongest and healthiest you yet.
I do this by sculpting your physique through programming strength and conditioning exercises, I manage body fat levels through programming cardiovascular exercises and providing dietary management.
Alongside planning your sessions to enable you to achieve your goals, I’ll be taking into consideration the exercise you enjoy and helping you to rehabilitate, re-train and re-strengthen those areas of the body that have taken a bit of a beating over the years.
Having recently recovered from Knee surgery on my ACL and Meniscus, I utilise my passion and knowledge, helping others to get back to what they love.’

With years of experience and a personal journey that mirrors many of my clients, I believe in walking the talk. I have transformed my own health and body and now also co-own a body transformation business Flex and Finesse with fellow DCG coach Sam Benton offering multiple challenges online throughout the year. we have created a buzzing commuity and helped dozens of clients reshape their bodies and lives through our proven programs.
Whether you are new to the gym or looking to reclaim your fitness Im here to guide and advise you every step of the way. Lets lift, grow and transform together!
Ladies can also come to my female only classes Wild Things Wednesdays 8am and Fridays 4:30pm to feel stronger and more empowered with like minded and supportive women!

My goal is to make training challenging but rewarding, and to help every client unlock the confidence and energy that comes with results.

My focus is on turning individuals into a stronger and fitter version of themselves by combining strength, muscle building and conditioning work into their programs and use a hybrid of online and in person coaching to help each client to the best of my abilities.

MARK EVANS

A former Fitness Coach at Wolverhampton Rugby Club, Mark brings valuable insights from the demands of rugby union, where he helped develop players’ strength, conditioning, and resilience on the field.
Today, he focuses on powerlifting, guiding clients to achieve serious strength gains through evidence-based training in the big three lifts (squat, bench press, and deadlift). With a proven track record of personal bests and competition experience, plus advanced knowledge from formal education in sports and fitness, Mark combines practical coaching expertise with a thorough understanding of exercise science to deliver safe, effective, and results-driven programs tailored to serious lifters and athletes alike.
Highly knowledgeable, highly educated, and dedicated to helping clients unlock their maximum potential.

LEE MCDONALD

Over the past 11 years as a personal trainer and coach, I have continually pursued knowledge and development in rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, CrossFit, gymnastics, and Olympic lifting. I have encountered a vast range of clients, each with unique needs, goals, and physical challenges, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed helping every one of them achieve their specific objectives.

EMMANUELLE SIDAWAY
ABOUT EMMANUELLE
Amongst many benefits you will improve posture and mobility, build deep muscles and core strength, and release body tightness.
I focus on alignment and lengthening through precise cues that will help you have a better body awareness and identify body imbalance.
You will workout through all planes and I make sure every class is different than the one before!
After a mindful workout in a friendly and supportive environment you will feel a great sense of physical and emotional wellbeing.
Pilates provides additional benefits to cyclists, runners, horse riders, desk based workers by working small groups of muscles to maintain and enhance optimal/efficient posture.
As a little aside, I’m a keen gym goer, you’ll see me in various classes at DCG, a runner and a Pilates student myself! I was diagnosed with a L4/5 slipped disc and had a back operation in 2021, Pilates has been key in my recovery and I am now stronger than ever with no restrictions!
I have a Level 3 Pilates instructor qualification.

JACOB HADLEY

With a meticulous and thorough approach to programming, Jacob designs tailored, evidence-based plans through his signature Shropshire Strength System — drawing on years of hands-on experience to help clients progress safely and effectively from everyday fitness enthusiasts to competitive strength athletes.
As an under-80kg strongman competitor himself, he brings real-world insight to his coaching, specializing in building raw power, functional strength, and dramatic physique changes.
Jacob is also the dedicated organiser and host of Shropshire’s Strongest, the county’s premier strongman event series — including the popular Novice edition — which showcases local talent and fosters the strength community across events like log press, deadlift, farmers walks, sandbag carries, and more.
Passionate about turning potential into performance, Jacob trains clients both 1-1 and online, helping them unlock their strongest selves.

Specialising in boxing, Luke helps clients of all levels build strength, technique, cardiovascular fitness, and confidence—whether through one-on-one sessions, group classes, pad work, or fight preparation. He also offers nutritional guidance to support clients in achieving their goals, from fat loss and muscle building to overall performance enhancement.
Passionate about empowering people to transform their bodies and mindset, Luke trains clients at DC Gymnasium (David Corfield Gymnasium) and brings enthusiasm, structure, and a systems-based approach to every session. His background includes competitive boxing experience, making him particularly skilled at teaching authentic boxing fundamentals in a safe, motivating environment.
